Who can help me find out about my options?

Each university has an office for disability support and special needs, where staff will give you guidance, advice and information, as well as details of the services and equipment available to suit you. Admissions officers will be able to put you in contact with the right person. You might also want to talk to a trained counsellor, who understands students' problems and can help you to cope with them. They will help you work out whether the teaching and assessment methods are appropriate for your situation and will also be able to tell you about other sources of assistance, for example sign language interpreters.
