Lancaster University is recognised as being one of the top British Universities for research and teaching. It is one of only 11 parkland campus-based universities in the UK and was established by Royal Charter. It is a self-contained campus with departments, research centres, on-campus accommodation, shops, restaurants, libraries, banks, sports, social and study facilities all housed within the University grounds.
Lancaster University is one of only six UK universities to have collegiate system and all staff and students are members of a college. There are about 10,000 students on campus at any one time, our vibrant community comprises over 115 different nationalities. There are nearly 8,000 undergraduate students and over 2,000 postgraduate students at the University. We offer over 400 degree programmes and have a high graduate employment success rate.

March 2008 - Wed 5th and Wed 19th
April 2008 - Wed 2nd, Wed 16th and Wed 30th
May 2008 - Wed 14th and Wed 28th
June 2008 - Wed 11th and Wed 25th
July 2008 - Wed 9th and Wed 30th
Campus tours usually run from 13.00 - 15.00 (1pm-3pm).
The tours on 2nd April and 28th May include an extra 'department drop-in session' from 15.00 - 16.00pm (3pm-4pm).
