The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts is a small, specialist and creative environment with world class performing arts facilities fully accessible to all.
It is primarily for people who want to enter - and survive - the tough world of arts and entertainment, whether as performers or those who make performance possible.
The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts is dedicated to providing the best teaching and learning for people who want to pursue and maintain a lasting career in the popular performing arts economy.
We do this by:

using an £18m purpose-designed building
placing equal emphasis on performers and those who make performance possible
enabling the growth of a specialist skill while developing generalist skills
encouraging learning by doing whilst providing contextual and relevant theoretical understanding
encouraging multi-skilling
emphasising flexibility, enterprise and self-reliance
