Advice on entry to Oxbridge universities

Applying to Cambridge or Oxford universities you need to be predicted to get good grades at A Level, or equivalent,  and you will need to apply earlier than other universities.

Each 'college' at Oxford or Cambridge has its own administration and counts as an individual university. Each 'college' has a separate prospectus and a separate website.

Applications to Oxford and Cambridge need to be received by 15th October in the year before the degree course begins.

Most Oxbridge colleges have academic interviews with potential students in December of the year before entry.

Oxbridge Admissions (student run, unofficial site)

A free website run by current Oxford and Cambridge students offers advice on admissions. Student profiles are posted on the site giving details of the admissions process with the aim of assisting people of all backgrounds to get into Oxford and Cambridge Universities.

To read the student profiles log-on to http://www.oxbridge-admissions.info/
