How to prepare for an interview

  • Know why you want to study that course.

  • Know why you want to study at that university.

  • Do some background reading about the course.

  • If you are currently studying - be prepared to talk about the courses you are doing.

  • If you are currently working - describe the skills you have developed, such as meeting deadlines, team work and commitment that will be help you when you start to study.

  • For courses that lead to a profession, can you talk about your interest in that career.

  • Check your personal statement and be prepared to talk about what you have written.

  • Think about how you are going to get there - you don't want to be late.
