How else can I find out about different universities?

How else can I find out about different universities?

There are a number of possibilities, including looking at university websites and university prospectuses as well as attending visit days, open days and interviews.

What are open days?

Universities hold open days for prospective students to have a look around. Tours of the campus and facilities let you see if the place is right for you, and there will be people available to answer your questions. To find out when opens days will be happening, check out the homepages for the universities that you are interested in or go to http://www.opendays.com

What about interviews?

You might be invited for an interview so that admissions staff can meet you and discuss your application more fully. This gives you a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the course and about the university generally, so make the most of it.
