UCAS also keeps a detailed database of Higher Education courses at universities and colleges. Click on course search to search for degree courses anywhere in the UK.

Applying online

The UCAS service called apply is a secure, web based, online application form.

apply is very simple to use.

You need to register (you only need to register once) with UCAS to use the apply facility.

Once you have registered with the service you can use a username and password to get into the online application form.

'To register go the following site and click on "register/log in to use Apply" http://www.ucas.com/apply/index.html

There is a small application fee but if you are making your application through a school or college, payment is usually arranged through them. If you are applying as an individual you may be required to pay a small fee using a credit or debit card. This charge may be higher if you apply for more than one course.
