Can I look around the university?

You may be able to look around at any time, parts of the university are often open to visitors. You can then see what facilities are available and where you would study. Having a look around can help you decide on which university would suit you best. Your family and friends might like to visit the university with you because they may want to be familiar with the place where you will spend much of the next few years.

You can ask about special organised visits or open days when you and your family or friends can visit buildings that are usually closed to visitors. In this way you can get to see more of the university, like the lecture halls, study areas, library and resource centres, catering and sports facilities. If you are interested in one of these organised visits, the university will give you details.
