Can I work while I study?

Many full-time students work part-time while they study. This helps your finances and gives you work experience. You can fit the job in around your studies, but be sure to allow time for individual study time as well as class work. Each university has some sort of job shop which lists plenty of part-time work available to students, or your local Job Centre may be able to help you.

Alternatively, you could choose to work full-time and study on a part-time basis. Most Open University students are working while they study part-time in the evenings and at weekends.
