Adult Learning Grant

The Adult Learning Grant can give you up to £30.00 a week to help you study for new qualifications. You may also be able to get help with course fees and childcare as well as bus fares and course materials.

To be eligible, you need to -

  • 19 year old or over.
  • Studying for at least 450 hours of guided learning per year (which equates to about 12 hours a week) for your first Level 2 qualification or Level 3 qualification, GCSEs or A Levels.
  • be living and studying in England and meet the residency criteria.
