You can get financial help from the government if you are a part-time student. The amount of support depends on how intensive your part-time course is.

Help with part-time course costs
A non-repayable grant of up to £255 is available to part-time students from lower income households to help meet the cost of books, travel and other course-related expenses. It is income assessed and is not based on the intensity of the course.
Help for disabled students
If you are a part-time student with a disability and are studying at least 50% of the full-time equivalent, you may be entitled to financial help with a non-repayable Disabled Students Allowance.
